A Hungarian work permit — with the employer provided by us
The hardest part of getting a work-based residence permit is finding a Hungarian employer willing to sponsor a foreigner. Our clients skip that part entirely. SilverOffice employs you through its own Hungarian companies: a real employment contract, real salary, real contributions. You don’t hunt for a job. You relocate.
The qualified-worker card (Magyar Kártya). For clients from CIS countries we use one route: the qualified-worker residence card. Hungary has several types of work permits, and not all of them lead anywhere long-term. We only work with the one that does. Here is what that means for you:
- No nationality restrictions. The card is open to citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
- Every year counts. After 3 years of continuous residence you can apply for the National Residence Card — Hungary’s permanent residence.
- Your family comes too. Your spouse and children apply through family reunification.
- One application, not two. The Single Application Procedure via Enter Hungary combines the right to work and the right to reside: the authority’s target is 21 days, with a final decision within 70 days.
If you hold a degree and a strong salary. Degree holders earning from roughly HUF 1,001,047 a month (the 2026 threshold) can qualify for the EU Blue Card instead. It also counts toward permanent residence and suits professionals heading into qualified roles.
How it works. The employment is genuine — a real contract, real work, payroll and contributions. That’s exactly why the permit renews cleanly and builds toward residency. Whether the route fits your case depends on your citizenship, profession and salary, and that’s the first thing our consultant checks — before any fees or paperwork.
